Hello ladies! I want to thank each and every one of my followers and readers for being completely fab and wonderful and encouraging me to keep blogging with your lovely comments! Thanks girls (and any boys who pop on too)! I've been very lucky to receive 6, yes you heard it correctly, 6 giveaway prizes since August. What a run of good luck! Thank you to all the generous ladies who've held these giveaways, you are all wonderful. I've decided to not enter any more giveaways for a couple of months, just in case I get lucky again. I feel a bit guilty about my luck, so I'll leave some for the rest of you... That said, I thought I'd share the luck by holding my own giveaway. I'm sorry that not everyone can win, but I wish I could give you all a prize!
As we're heading into the Christmas party season, what could be better than a Christmas party kit? I've chosen a few items that will help you sparkle and dazzle in December, as well as a soon-to-be cult classic nail polish. The giveaway is as follows:
Firstly, I managed to pick up the nail polish dupe of the century - Barry M Dusky Mauve. I got two of these - one is for me when my beloved Chanel Paradoxal runs out. This is pretty much as duptastic as you can get. The Dusky Mauve is exactly the same colour and has the same hidden red sparkle as Paradoxal, only visible in certain lights. Perhaps the sparkle is slightly more pronounced in the Dusky Mauve, but only by the smallest amount, and you would have to be the creator of Paradoxal itself to tell the difference.
Accessorize Merged Blusher in 2 - Starlet. I've heard so many great things about Accessorize's new makeup range that I grabbed a few bits whilst I was in Superdrug. This blusher is a pinky colour shot through with golden threads. Although I've not tried it myself, I did swatch it in the shop and it looks beautiful - it's hard to part with ladies, I want it for myself!
Next I got some Scholl Party Feet Invisible Gel Cushions. Well, if you're hitting the dance floor in killer heels you're going to need some of these, right? They're ultra-slim ones, which I think is a good idea, as the regular sized ones can sometimes make my shoes too tight and pinch on the top and sides of my feet.
I love the Girls Aloud lashes, and I also love their Party Lashes range as well. These Nicola ones look lovely, with a classic flutter eye, with just a few gems at the outer corner. They're even subtle enough for a more formal party, with just a hint of bling - perfect! Also, they'll work well with different colours of eye makeup, as the gems are clear.
Finally, I picked up a pot of Barry M Dazzle Dust in 69 (no sniggering at the back ladies). I've not been able to capture it in the photos, but it has a gorgeous irredescent sheen to it, over a saphire blue colour. Trust me, it's lovely (although it looks dull in the photos).
So those are a few bits so you can sparkle, dazzle, flutter and dance to help you create the perfect Christmas Party look. So what are the rules of this competition?
You MUST be a follower of my blog, although new followers are of course always welcome, but not if you've only set up an account to enter giveaways. Then leave me a comment saying 'enter me'. Please either make sure you leave your email address, or have it easy to find on your blog so that I can contact you if you win.
This competition is open internationally, so don't worry if you're not based in the UK - I'll stump up the postage!
You can have a second entry by tweeting about my giveaway, making sure you mention @bristolbeauty in your tweet.
The giveaway closes at Midnight on Tuesday 30th November, afterwhich I will pick a winner at random using Random.org. If you win, let me know your name and address quickly (especially if you're an international winner), so I can get your prizes out quickly in time for the Christmas Party season!
Good luck girls, thanks to you all for being fabulous! xxx
