Glasgow Beauty Haul!

Hi ladies.  I managed a little haul on my holiday - well who can resist when you're staying in Glasgow which is one of the best cities for shopping in the UK!  I think it's right up there with Brighton and London (my two fave shopping places) and we were staying right in the city centre, so were walking past the shops all the time.

First off, I popped into Topshop and picked up some nail polish in Celestial and a Topshop Lip Marker in Berry - both lovely shades.  I've not tried the nail polish yet, but I quite like the Lip Marker.  I'll do a proper review of it shortly.

In Urban Outfitters, I got a Models Own Nail Art Pen - I'm looking forward to trying this out as I've not really ever done any nail art before.  Leopard print nails, here I come!

In Boots I headed for No. 7 (waving my vouchers), 17.  I got the 17 Purple Magnetic Nail Polish - I'm looking forward to trying this out!  I think I must've got the last one in the country as it was the only one on the stand, and I've looked in many different branches of Boots to find it!  I got the No. 7 Poppy King Lipstick in Seduction.  This looks really dark brown in the tube and even darker in the photos, but actually swatches a really wearable colour.  I wasn't even going to bother swatching it, but I'm glad I did, as it was my favourite in the Poppy King range. I also got a No. 7 nail polish, but I can't remember what the colour is right now!

I have been lemming Facets of Fuchsia by Revlon for ages, so was really pleased to pick it up! I also had a voucher with £2 off, so I could indulge!  I couldn't resist Revlon's Super Lustrous Lip Stick in Skyline Pink, also from their new collection.  It's very pale for me, but I might try to work it 60's style.

In Primani I got some Cherry Coke Lip Balm.  I've already got Coca Cola Lip Balm and I love it!  Tastes and smells just like coke!  I also picked up a navy blue glitter eyeliner - at 50p, I couldn't resist!

So that's my beauty haul.  If I get round to it, I'll do a post of my clothing haul - it is extensive.  I stocked up on loads of knitwear - I love knitwear, autumn's my favourite season for clothing!

My Nail Polish Collection - The Greens

So yesterday I posted my blue polishes - today it's the turn of the greens.  I seem to have quite a few green polishes - really quite amazing, as I never thought I'd be wearing green on my nails.

From left to right: Accesorize Aztec, Illamasqua Veridian, Chanel Khaki Vert, Mavala Bronze Green, 17 - not sure of the name, I think it has something to do with mints, Revlon Minted, Revlon Emerald City.

Here's another one I forgot to include in my earlier photo - Nails Inc Neal Street.

I've done NOTD posts of the Nails Inc, Accesorize, Illamasqua and Chanel polishes, but none of the others.  I've not even worn Emerald City yet.  I really loved the colour of Minted and have tried to do a good application of it for a NOTD post loads of times.  Unfortunately the formula is terrible - one of the worst I've ever used.  It bubbles, is streaky, needs about 4 coats to turn opaque, takes forever to dry and chips like anything.  I've never successfully applied it.  It's strange, as I love all the other Revlon polishes I've used.  My favourite colours are Veridian and Khaki Vert, although shockingly, I've only used each one once.  And I went to a lot of trouble to get Khaki Vert as well.

50 Followers Giveaway! MAC, No 7, 17, ELF CLOSED

Hello my lovely followers.  I've not been blogging for very long, but today I've reached a milestone - I've got 50 lovely followers.  I'm amazed and feel so privaleged that 50 people want to read my beauty ramblings regularly, so I thought I'd celebrate with a giveaway to thank you all so much for following me.

So here are the products that I've collected for you:

First up, a tinted lipglass in Wildly Refined from the MAC Fabulous Felines collection, from the Leopard Luxe colour range.  I've not tried this myself, but I thought it would suit any skin tone as it's very light colour.  I spotted it when I was picking up some bits for myself, and thought I'd treat you lovelies!

Secondly, this is what I think is 'THE' product of the autumn.  It's the No. 7 Smoky Eye Liner.  This is a limited edition from the autumn range, and I love, love, love it!  I've been using mine for a week now, and I'm going to do a review of it soon, but for now, you'll just have to take my word that this is the best eye liner ever.  It's so easy to apply and you get great results - I've been wearing it everyday since I got it, and will be picking up another one for myself hopefully before the range finishes.  However, I got the last one in Boots for you guys, so I'll have to go back to get me a back-up!  The swatches are from my own eye liner, not the one I'm giving away!

Next up is Wild Curls Mascara by 17.  I've not tried this yet myself, as I have mascara coming out of my ears!  But I'm hoping to pick it up for myself when I next need to stock up as I've heard such good things about it!

There's a little 17 glittery green eye shadow included as well.  The colour is Superstar.

I've also got this little gift set of minis from No. 7 included in the giveaway - I somehow managed to get two of them!  I've been hitting No. 7 hard, recently.  This includes Protect and Perfect Intense Beauty Serum, Protect and Perfect Day Cream, Moisture Drench Lipstick in Pink Crush, Cleanse & Care Eye Make-up Remover (I love this), Perfect Eye Mousse in Pewter and Lash 360 Mascara in Black.  I've swatched some of these from my own set for you.

Finally, I've got a three nail polishes from ELF in Fuschia, Hot Pink and Pink/Purple which I'll include (they look nothing like their website swatches, but my picture is also pretty crappy - sorry)!
