NOTD - Barbara Daly Velvet

I got this nail polish free when Tesco were doing some sort of Beauty Club giveaway recently.  I was really pleased when it arrived - it's a nice, wearable, dark burgundy/red colour with a lovely sparkle shot through it.  But it's also not too glittery.  I was wearing it to work and I felt it was quite appropriate.

It was a very easy application, with no bubbling and a smallish brush. Only two coats were needed to get a deep, opaque colour. I found it to be quite long wearing, lasting three days without a top coat before it started to chip.  The photos were taken on the second day, with just some minor tip wear (not bad for no top coat).

All in all, I'm very impressed with this, and whenever I'm next in my local Tesco superstore (somewhere I usually avoid like the plague), I'll check out the range to see if any other colours tickle my fancy!
